This project is not Holiday related but, you can incorporate this idea for any gift- whether it be Christmas, Bday, teacher or just because... I made for each of the girls on my daughters soccer team. It was super easy & it turned out really cute.
I bought all materials from Hobby Lobby but, you can find these at any craft store. You can get as creative as you want which is the best part! I chose to use an action shot of each girl which I can tell you was the hardest part of this entire project because I had 18 girlies on the team...but, not to complain when I saw the sweetest smiles on each of their faces as they saw their ornament :)
supplies I used: scissors, red perm marker, ribbon{used 4 different types 2 wire ribbon 2 none}, jingle bells, clear glass ornament, shredded paper & scalloped punch{not shown}
cut the ribbon ends
here is where I added the shredded paper for filler...you can do this first if you want
put in the picture
and the finished ornament
I made a bag for the ornaments to take home after the party
I used plain white bag
then, cut the bag a little shorter with my fancy scalloped scissors
used my handy Martha Stewart stencil letters
then, stenciled each girls initial on each bag
for the coaches gifts I printed a picture of their first win & using Picnik I added all the girls names and team name.
And that's what I made for our sweet REDHOTS!

Nancy these are over-the-top wonderful gifts! I adore such creativity. One of these days, I hope I am as creative. My creative gifts come through baking, and then, that's gotten less and less! Hope to see you soon!
