I've seen it being used more and more in the home & my favorite dash of gold is with light fixtures and drawer pulls.
Crushing big time!
I'm thinking of incorporating gold in my house & becoming a gold member..lol
I have the light fixture below & I'm thinking of gold-e-fying it this weekend....only dilemma is spray paint or gold rub? I've seen where people have used gold spray paint on things and it's not pretty & reallllly looks super cheap..lol I know rude but it's the truth. So, first I will have to experiment for sure. I'll let you know how it goes...

Hi Nancy! I love touches of gold! I've been experimenting, also with metallic spray paints because I want the "dried" finish to look as close to real as possible. So far, the Rustoleum brand is the best. Other than that, there is "gold leafing"--not sure if that's conducive to moisture in the bathroom. Can't wait to see your finished project!
